The festival will also act as the finale to Nottingham Craft Beer Week, which takes place from Saturday 9 – Saturday 16 June in over 30 bars across the city. It will feature 100s of different beers available from a range of stalls from bars and breweries who operate locally, nationally and internationally.

Festival organiser Al Gilby said:

“We love a good beer festival and the idea of putting one on in the Sneinton Market Avenues complex in the middle of summer was too good to resist. We’ll be showcasing the best local breweries alongside some of the best internationally. Since we first mooted the idea we’ve been inundated by breweries wanting to take part. There’ll be so many great beers on offer to taste, you won’t know where to start.”

BLACK IRIS
Probably the most prominent brewery in Nottingham’s Craft Beer revolution. They now supply beers to hundreds of bars and pubs worldwide and their antics in dis-organising ‘Piss Up In A Brewery’ at last year’s Craft Beer Week gained them international acclaim.

FREEDOM
Let’s face it, it’s lager. But in our opinion it’s the most wonderful lager out there. They upped sticks from London to the Derbyshire countryside and brew some of the best hangover-free beers known to man. They have bees and honey involved in the process and all sorts.

The relative new kids on the block in the Nottingham brewing scene, but their Less Dangerous, Pink Moon and Into The Void beers have been smashing it at venues like Head of Steam, The King Billy and the Kean’s Head. Pink moon is actually pink too.
